Hawkeye Partners
Investment Process

The goal of our process is to identify talented New Managers who demonstrate the commitment and ability to develop a direct, fiduciary relationship with our investors.

Once a New Manager has been identified, Hawkeye provides the infrastructure support, strategic guidance and capital markets support necessary for New Managers to manage institutional capital and to become top-tier investment managers.

Our investment process includes the following activities:

  • New Manager selection: identifying, conducting due diligence and entering into contractual relationships with New Managers
  • Oversight of New Manager programs: monitoring the managers in the acquisition, management and disposal of real estate investments on behalf of the Fund
  • Infrastructure support and development: supporting and assisting the managers in establishing the staffing, processes and systems needed to manage institutional capital and operated efficiently
  • New Manager investments: providing working capital for growth, formation or acquisitions to be managed by New Managers for strategic platform development
  • Strategic guidance and capital market support: helping New Managers develop their business while establishing and maintaining relationships in the capital markets and institutional marketplace
  • Overseeing economic interests: structuring, documenting and managing the Fund's economic interests in the New Managers investment platforms and associated businesses
